ABS provides health care for students and staff during the school day and after-school activity time. The school employs a full-time qualified doctor who is responsible for all aspects of student and staff medical health during school hours. The school also employs a qualified nurse (located mainly in the Sports Complex) who provides first aid treatment for sports injuries during school hours and after school activities and on the weekends. Additionally, a group of staff from across the school have received training in First Aid.

The clinic is well equipped with medical supplies for medical care and emergencies; these include a stretcher, wheelchair, oxygen cylinders, an Ambo bag for CPR, CPR medications, a metal stretcher for spine injuries, a nebulizer for asthma attacks, a Glucocheck for diabetic patients to check blood glucose levels, crutches, a hot air sterilizer and surgical needles for stitches.
The doctor runs a regular staff clinic and a range of medication can be provided to patients from the pharmacy in the clinic.
The school doctor supervises the cafeteria staff ensuring medical check-ups every six months by the Ministry of Health. Student medical reports are updated on an annual basis. All medical cases of students who require extra attention from the school are monitored. The doctor is responsible for providing the school buses and other locations around the school with First Aid kits.
The doctor carries out annual examinations of height and weight for Kindergarten and Junior School students and vision tests for Junior School students.
A newly installed professional software package for clinics provides for better record keeping, monitoring and reporting.
