The recent ABS CIS/IB Synchronised Visit, which was the first-ever worldwide CIS Team Evaluation Visit under the international protocol, was an outstanding success.
Last Thursday the CIS Team Chair gave all staff of the school the draft feedback, which stated that the school had been meticulous in its production of the Self-study and that the school had exceeded all the requirements for the revised CIS Accreditation protocol.
This is a fantastic accolade for the whole ABS community and many congratulations and thanks go to all that made this possible, including the Board of Trustees, staff, parents and especially our wonderful students, who made a fantastic impression throughout the whole week. Congratulations to all
On 18 & 19 June, the Principal and Assistant Principal participated in the Round Square (RS) Discovery Framework Workshop held at the RS Worldwide Office. RS leaders and advocates from around the world shared best practice and collaborated in discussions as to how the RS Discovery Framework can be incorporated into any and every school culture and ethos whilst complementing the existing programmes.
IB MYP official e-Assessment results were released yesterday evening by the IB Organisation. We are pleased to inform you that no less than 10 students achieved a total of 50 and above out of a maximum of 56 points and no less than 55 bilingual MYP Certificates and 14 regular MYP Certificates being awarded to ABS students.
We would like to congratulate our students and their parents.
Many congratulations to the wonderful class of 2017, their parents and teachers on their outstanding IB results which are, yet again, one of the best set of results in the history of school.
Alf Mabrook to all!
We are very proud of our Grade 10 student, Rakan Hammouri on his Personal Project initiative, which was posted on the KHCC page. For his project, Rakan chose to organise and perform in a piano concert and all his proceeds went towards helping patients at the KHCC.
